GALE Pacific Launches New Innovations at Advanced Textiles Expo

Published 30 October 2023

GALE Pacific® showcased its latest fabric innovations at Advanced Textiles Expo 2023, held November 1-3 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Represented by GALE Commercial™, the exhibition highlighted advanced performance textiles designed to combine functional design with durability, sustainability, and climate-ready performance for large-scale outdoor applications.

Showcasing Sustainable Fabric Innovation

With a continued focus on pushing the boundaries of commercial textiles, GALE Commercial introduced a new generation of sustainable coated fabrics developed to help customers meet demanding project requirements while exceeding sustainability goals.

Featured innovations included:

  • Ecobanner™, a revolutionary PVC-free, recycable and printable banner fabric designed for outdoor signage and branding, capable of 100% closed-loop recycling
  • Apex, a waterproof coated fabric solution developed for entertainment and hospitality environments

These materials represent a step forward in reducing environmental impact without compromising performance.

Heat Reduction with HeatShield Fabric Technology

The GALE Pacific booth also featured live demonstrations of HeatShield®, the company’s proprietary fabric technology, through their Coolaroo brand, engineered to reduce surface temperatures by up to 15°F.

Using treated yarns, HeatShield helps create cooler shaded environments and is ideal for applications such as family areas, playgrounds, car parks, and community outdoor spaces.

Industry Insight and Expert Perspectives

Chris Gibson, GALE Pacific Americas General Manager and Vice President of Global Innovation, shared his perspective on the event:
